For insurers and loss adjusters

Documented mould remediation for claims

Recovering goods to retail condition can reduce a loss considerably. We remediate mould-affected footwear and apparel and document the work to a standard designed to stand up to scrutiny.

What our reporting includes

  • A mould confirmation report on the samples or consignment
  • Units received, released and unable to be remediated, reconciled against the quantities sent
  • Interim progress reports on larger jobs
  • A completion statement
  • Captioned photographs, taken on a sampling basis
  • A formal limitations section and declaration

Clear about what we do not do

We do not give an opinion on the cause of mould, where in the supply chain goods became affected, or who is liable. Our inspection is visual and by smell, by trained operatives under controlled conditions, and does not include laboratory testing, sampling or species identification. We do not guarantee against recurrence once goods leave our control.

Those limits are stated in every report, so the record is accurate and cannot be read as claiming more than it does.

Confidential, with disclosure to advisers and insurers

Our reports are confidential. They may be shared with the client’s own advisers and insurers, which is what a claims process needs.
